Welcome to Warlene René’s creative space. Here you will find style that is part of my everyday life. Getting dressed and creating style is when i’m most in my element. My background in design started very early I would say. On frequent trips to my native country Haiti, I would see my aunts and grandmother sewing away on their machines and that left such an impression and curiosity on me. My father was also a tailor in his younger years and had the best style I can remember. My mother was self employed while I was growing up, she was a vintage and an antique dealer. I would attend a lot of her buying trips and learned so much about business just from watching her. My creative and entrepreneurship spirit is most definitely from my parents. After college where I studied fashion design I went into the bridal industry sewing and fitting gowns. I stayed 10 years before starting my own styling and fitting services for brides. In 2019 I began to take starting my own brand more seriously. I wanted to start a line of capsule collections that is influenced by my love of draping and my love for vintage fashion. I also wanted to incorporate my love for service that had been such a big part of my creative process while working at bridal salons. Once I nailed how I would tell that story, the birth of my brand began. I hope this site will encourage you to rethink how you dress and inspire creativity that you can bring into your own wardrobe.
